ABOUT PEARL
FARM BEACH RESORT
Located in the southern part of the Philippines is the Samal group
of Islands, an archipelago consisting of nine islands which stretch
out over a land area of 28,000 hectares. Samal is a beautiful,
tranquil and exotic island with a coastline adorned with white sand
beaches, abundant marine life, rock formations, mangroves, and
landscape elements of coconut palms, flowering plants and
fruit-bearing trees. The area is blessed with various natural
attractions and flourishing flora and fauna.
Nestled on the quiet side of Samal Island, The Pearl Farm Beach
Resort is a mere 45-minute boat ride from the wharf. This fourteen
(14) hectare spread was once a pearl farm, where thousands of
white-lipped oysters transported from the Sulu Sea, were cultivated
for their pink, white and gold pearls. Today, the resort beckons
with the promise of a relaxing, private retreat, under the care of
its friendly and charming staff.
FACILITIES
Leisure
For the sports enthusiast, tennis courts are available during the
day and at night. The resort also offers a wide array of water
sports activities that include wind surfing, water polo, jet skiing,
water skiing, banana boat rides and scuba diving. Sea kayaks, hobie
cats and wave runners are also available.
The Pearl Farm's attractions however, go much deeper than surface
delights. Two (2) sunken World War II Japanese vessels await
discovery from scuba divers, just 60 meters away from the resort.
Marine life has been protected and nurtured over the past years, and
the area surrounding the resort has been declared a marine
sanctuary.
Spa
The concept of the Ylang Ylang Spa is bourne out of the flower from
which it originated from. Known as an aphrodisiac, it is a tree
endemic to the southeast Asian region and whose blossoms are among
the most intense and passionate of all floral aromas.
Located within a garden of vegetation amidst a man-made cascading
waterfall, Ylang Ylang Spa stands out sweetly in the arms of
nature’s embrace. This sanctuary offers a wide range of beauty and
health treatments such as wraps, facials, body massage and foot spas
- available as individual treatments or in indulgent packages.

ingredients known for their healing and wellness effect for the

Meetings
Pleasure aside, the resort offers 3 function rooms and boardrooms
with excellent facilities and equipments designed to allow total
concentration necessary for power meetings and conferences.
Arrangements can be made to accommodate a maximum of 70 persons.
More flexible options can be made through other meeting and food &
beverage outlets such as the Mandaya Restaurant, Malipano Island,
and other key areas in the resort.
ACCOMMODATION
Deluxe Accommodation with 73 guestrooms, suites, cottages on stilts
perched above the sea and exclusive villas are designed from Maranao
and Samal ethnic influences in both materials and form. Inside,
decorative details and multihued patterns reflect the islands
vibrant culture as inspired by the region's rich tribal ancestry.

MALIPANO ISLAND VILLA
Malipano Island, a secluded island located a few hundred meters off
Samal Island, is where seven (7) exclusive villas of the resort are
nestled. It offers three holes of golf and at the west side, the
island faces a pristine white sand beach.
Boat transfers take approximately one hour. The regular boat

DINING
The Maranao Restaurant features delicious Filipino and International
Cuisine with fresh seafood specialties. A wide assortment of exotic
tropical fruits grow abundantly in the fertile landscapes of Davao
and neighboring provinces, as well as Samal Island itself, giving
Pearl Farm the ease to serve them fresh at the Maranao Restaurant.
Enjoy cocktails at the Parola Bar with inspiring views of the sea
and nearby islands. Or perhaps, you can get romantic and order for a
customized dinner under the stars or on the shore.
